GPOYW - My first xmas
The year was 1970, and that thing on the wall behind my sister was a lightboard that flashed colored lights based on the beat of the music coming from the reel-to-reel deck beneath it.
GPOYW - haircut & hitchhiker edition
Last week I sent 15” of hair to Locks of Love, making this the shortest my hair has been in over 20 years. I’ll probably do it again next year.
Steve Wiebe is proving to be quite the unique kitten. Not only does he play in the dishwasher and burrow under the sheets in our bed, he also surfs humans. He jumps as high as he can, usually around thigh level, and then climbs up to your shoulders where he’ll perch for a while, hanging on as you walk around. It’s adorable now, but will probably become more painful and difficult as he grows. Can’t wait.

No, the band is not called Kuato Lives (that would have been a much better name).
Yes, that’s a cardboard stand-up of Jabba-enslaved Princess Leia lurking in the back.

GPOY taken by a surveillance cam to be used as evidence of a crime you had no idea you committed.
Some days feel like surreal snippets of an Orwell/Kafka mashup.
