Catdoor Stevens in light of day.
This morning, Chinaco woke me up by jumping on the bed a little after 7am. He hung out for a few minutes before leaping off and bounding down the hall to wrestle Weeby. I got up and pulled them apart and brought Chinaco into the bathroom with me. After I let him out, the wrestling resumed. A minute later, they were both at the catdoor, and the good doctor was trying to get in. Chinaco showed Weeby how to handle it by smashing the catdoor into its namesake’s face and hissing. By this time, I had donned a towel and made my way to the door. Catdoor Stevens was outside yowling. It wasn’t a threatening yowl, it was a needy yowl. I’m starting to think he doesn’t have a family. I opened the catdoor and cooed at him, and he ran away. I stood up and looked out the window and he was already all the way across the neighbor’s yard. He definitely doesn’t trust humans.
After that ordeal, I checked Worf’s reports and saw this picture, taken while Chinaco and I were in the bathroom. I assume he’s looking at Weeby here. I can’t believe I didn’t hear anything. Worf also reported that he came in at 11:49, right after we went to bed AND STAYED INSIDE FOR OVER TWO HOURS. The food bowl, now hidden in the corner of our back room, was empty.
